Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our new Partial Hospitalization Program at Creative Treatment Options introduces a higher level of care between traditional outpatient therapy and inpatient treatment—filling a critical gap and greatly expanding the support we can offer clients on their recovery journey.
Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) provide an accessible and structured daily routine for individuals who need more support than IOP but who do not require 24-hour inpatient services or hospitalization. The intention of PHP is to combine daily clinical services with skill-building and treatment planning to stabilize symptoms, increase functioning, and support clients through periods of crisis or transition.
Our team of clinicians, case managers, and medical partners work collaboratively to ensure every client receives personalized and consistent support. Our PHP is intended as a 8 weeklong program to meet each client’s individual needs and treatment goals.
Counseling Focus
Counseling within PHP is centered around evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches that promote meaningful, sustainable change. Clients participate in group and individual sessions that incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation and distress tolerance, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for restructuring unhelpful thinking patterns, and specialized trauma therapy to address past experiences that impact present functioning. Treatment is collaborative and strengths-based, creating a supportive environment where clients learn new skills, build resilience, and gain insight into the factors that influence mood, behavior, and recovery.
Whole Person Care
PHP includes integrated medical oversight to ensure clients receive whole-person care while participating in the program. A dedicated, licensed medical provider is embedded in the program for medication evaluations, ongoing medication management, and monitoring of mental health and physical health needs. When appropriate, providers can offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to support recovery from substance use disorders. This integration of behavioral health therapy with primary care helps clients achieve stability, improve overall wellbeing, and stay supported throughout the healing process.
